High-quality filters compatible with all SIGMA lenses

SIGMA has designed the entire range of SIGMA filters to be compatible with all lenses in the range. SIGMA has also ensured that this protective filter ensures a very homogeneous transmission of light over the entire field of the image, from the center to the corners. All lenses of the new SIGMA lines are checked on an exclusive FTM (Modulation Transfer Function) (A1) measuring bank using a 46 million pixel Foveon direct image sensor, and SIGMA filters are manufactured to meet the same quality standards.

Glass repellent treatment (WR)

The WR repellent treatment limits the reflection of the visible spectrum to 0.24%, thus minimizing flare and ghost lights. Its water-repellent abilities to water and fat bodies are also remarkable: the water does not adhere, and fingerprints are easily eliminated. This treatment also has a lubricating capacity that reduces the risk of scratches by ten compared to the classic SIGMA Super Multi Layer treatment. Its anti-static function avoids attracting dust or small particles and facilitates their removal.
